• if you would like to discuss multiple or complex issues in your consultation;
• if you would prefer an in-person appointment;
• if you would like to request antibiotics; or
• if you (or the patient you are requesting an online consultation for) are currently experiencing a medical emergency, such as a life-threatening illness or accident, which requires immediate treatment from the ambulance service (via 999) or an emergency department (A&E).
